The stores where you can get art supplies are Michaels (there are many Michaels stores), The Art Supply Warehouse (art supply warehouse can get expensive), Jo-Ann Fabric (very close to cypress college) and the Cypress College Bookstore (usually the cheapest, though they run out of supplies often).
1- 100 ml tube of black acrylic paint (Liquitex Basics or similar), split this with a classmate
1- 100 ml tube of white acrylic paint (Liquitex Basics or similar), split this with a classmate
1 paint brush- # 8 flat brush, bristle (real or synthetic), should be about $5
1 – 8×10 canvas panel, primed, white (sometimes comes in packs of 2 or 3, split with classmates)
5 #2 pencils (the common yellow type) NOT mechanical pencils
1 eraser (cheap white one from an art store is best, though regular red will do)
1 pencil sharpener, split this with a classmate
White computer/printing paper, always bring 10 sheets to every class
Duct tape, split with classmate(s)
1- glue stick, split with classmate
#8 brush- the brush should only cost no more than $6, black and white acrylic paint (pay no more than $5 for each) , and an 8 X 10 primed canvas ($5- $10 for a pack of 3). You can ask the people there to help you find the materials. Art materials can get very expensive, tell the people in the store that you want the cheap supplies.
